J.CO Donuts & Coffee — Restaurant in Santa Rosa

This JCO branch in all day mall sta Rosa has one of the excellent customer service I've experienced. Specially the cashier who has been excellent on my visit January 1, 2021 around 4pm. She went above and beyond my expectations by going the extra mile to assist me with my request by asking her manager for approval. I was with my wife who just gave birth to my new born son. We're so grateful for the assistance. This could've been a 5 star if it wasn't for the lady who assisted with the first donut box. She acted a bit off when she returned 1 donut back to the tray and like threw it back to the tray tumbling down and I was like, that donut will be some other customer's and i personally want my food treated delicately. But overall, very good service from the cashier lady....

I'm giving 2 stars based on the current situation in COVID. While they are organized in how queues and social distancing are done, and the staff are unquestionably hardworking, the biggest issue is that the manager (or management) allows the cashiers to handle and close the doughtnut boxes before handing them to customer after touching monies -thats a big NO in food handling. A crew that handles money full of germs and potentially harmful virus must not touch food or containers meant to hold food like boxes. The crew dedicated for the doughnut picking should be the only one in charge of boxing and releasing the item to maintain sanitation; while the cashier, regardless if hand sanitation is done, should stay exclusively on money...

We love their Donuts, kaso this last time we visited, we asked if a certain donut is available, they said 30mins pa so we ordered different flavors. After paying, the donut we wanted was already available, and they wouldn't exchange the Donuts anymore. 😑 But we'd probably buy Donuts from them again.
