Aling Tonya's Seafood in Silang Cavite

We bought mud crabs and paid for P800 per kilo, shrimp for 5 600 per kilo and liempo for 500 per kilo in their small palengke in front of the restaurant. ALL ITEMS WERE "FRESH" at the point of sale BUT upon serving the food, here's what happened:

1. The mud crabs that we bought supposed to be FRESH, ALIVE and MOVING but lo and behold, it is FROZEN!!! The aligue is dark, cold, very hard in texture, with smell, and tasted bitter, in short there are SWITCHING of items inside the kitchen, they are replacing your handpicked seafoods from their small market and then they are serving the OLD STOCKS OF SEAFOODS into your table. So my TIP for those planning to eat in ALING TONYA'S, please ensure to put some markings on your crabs like alisin mo lahat ng sipit so that they will not be able to replace them with the OLD STOCKS INSIDE their refrigerator. Please feel free to share more ideas on how we can prevent this SWITCHING SCAM FROM THEIR KITCHEN.
2. SHRIMP in sinigang was overcooked.
3. LIEMPO BBQ obviously binawasan ng mga taga kitchen, the serving was small for a kilo of liempo 🤣🤣🤣

The waitress assigned to us is very courteous. The ambience is very good.

The only problem is the SWITCHING SCAM and the BAWAS quantity in the serving from the kitchen staffs.

The expensive cost of the food and paluto is not worthy to pay Maybe the manager instructed the kitchen staffs to serve the OLD STOCKS first and BAWASAN ang pwedeng bawasan na items before serving.

If you like grilled fresh seafood, this is definitely a place you will want to try if visiting the Silang area. Even the Chicken Fried with Butter and the Yang Chao Rice were super good. The Tempura and Tuna Steak were first-rate. The scallops were beautifully prepared and delicious. One of the best cups of brewed coffee I have had in the Philippines. The food isn't fresh like they advertise. The baked mussels they offered is old and taste rotten. The butter garlic crab would be good but they use a lot of margarine and the oily feeling from it is unpleasant. The sweet and sour lapu lapu is okay but the sauce is too much and it doesn't even taste like fish anymore.

The music was Filipino opm music and rap but it was pretty loud and the service crew was just joking and playing around with each other.
