Read moreMy wife and I came here to experience specialty coffee and we had a fun time! We explained we wanted to try out different brew methods and beans with different flavor profiles. The barista (Genie) was super friendly and we had an illuminating conversation with her about different beans and brew methods. She brewed us espresso with their house blend and we also had Ethiopian beans brewed with an aeropress and beans from Bukidnon brewed with a V60. All three beans had fabulous flavor! The house blend had the most interesting and complex flavor profile, the Ethiopian beans had a strong and pleasant cherry flavor (my wife thought it was like red wine), and the Bukidnon beans tasted like sweet strawberry candy, just like the Creme Savers brand (despite the coffee being black!). I didn't have to seek out these notes in any of the coffees, they were very apparent (and enjoyable). I didn't know black coffee could be so delicious and varied! We will be returning again to buy some of the house blend beans for our brikka at home.
Note: there's not much coffee in the cup because we took the pic when we were almost finished, they serve more...
