This is a review for a restaurant owner who didn't want to give one star. I did not expect such an attitude from the manager of the cafe, who was very unprofessional and viciously talking to me and my wife. After I left 1000 pesos on the table for my order for 790 pesos, she shouted after me that I would no longer come to this restaurant. I visited this cafe five times and always carefully observed the work of the staff. The weak link of this restaurant is the manager not doing his job at all:
When I turned around and wanted to answer the manager for his rudeness, the male waiter began working as a security guard and tried to push me away, I don’t know why he did it instead of apologizing and changing the dish that I did not order. The female waiter, I don't know her name, there are no name plates, she worked the best of all, calmly and politely. The chef is also well done, my favorite salad is excellent as always. All the best and peace, learn to control your emotions. I hope the manager and waiter...
Read moreThis cafe is an absolute gem! It has made our time in Bohol. We normally like to try lots of different places but after having disappointing food recently, this has been so incredible, we've been 3 times in 2 days already, twice for brunch and once for dinner! Whilst waiting for food, you are given delicious popcorn and water is regularly refilled. Our server noticed when we were close to finishing our water or sauces and immediately brought us more. The service is very impressive! The coffee and shakes are great! The menu is awesome with a brilliant specials section. We've had the shakshuka, granola bowl and ring bagel brunch and would recommend all of them! The Pyanggang dish was very tasty and even the sides we had at dinner were delicious, the crisy potatoes with aoili and chilli jam and the Mexican Street corn... just yum!! To top off the fantastic food and service, there is a lovely view! After two weeks of travelling in the Philippines, this places is by a mile the best food we've had. Oh and fab music too! Thankyou!!...
Read moreThe only cafe in the city where I regularly dine and chill. If you are looking for a place where you could relax while having your work done then this one's for you. The mexican interior gives you a jovial vibe plus the cafe gives you a serene view of Islands, Pamilacan and Panglao. What I truly love about Chido is that they value inclusivity and safe spaces (check out their restrooms). The cafe is naturally ventilated and follows the IATF protocols. Drink your fave cuppa coffee by Yardstick in this cafe. Hoomans would surely love to bring along their fave doggo and friends. Overall, Chido is truly commendable when it comes to excellent service and great food. Ps, if you're new to this cafe you might as well try their Matcha Coco Shake paired with Mexican Choco Crepes. You can actually order off...
