Abuelos Coffee & Burgers — Restaurant in Tarlac City

As a TSU alumna, it's a delight to see more restaurants and food hubs around the university. Among them is this restau: ABUELOS. I always hear good stories about their food, especially their burgers. So we decided to finally try it and verify.

We ordered their Burger Steak, Hawaiian Burger and Cafe Hazelnut. I enjoyed the Burger Steak and the crunchy side veggies; it's way thicker than Jollibee's and more flavorful with clean taste. For the Hawaiian Burger, love the freshness of the lettuce and tomatoes: quite heavy dish.

I originally ordered Cafe Mocha, however, it wasn't available during that day so we changed it into Cafe Hazelnut Frappe. Not the frappe we were expecting, not so remarkable. I think it was also made from powdered coffee hazelnut, rather than brewed, that's why the flavor didn't sink in. The straw was also a hassle to use: the straw is not strawing sipoing hahaha

Overall, good service and food, nice location too. I hope they could improve their coffee blends someday, or maybe I will just try another drink next...

Bad: FOOD - burger is dry and salty. Their japchae tasted like sotanghon its also salty. Chicken teriyaki is also salty. I ask my companions its the same . Untensils are not nice tables and chairs im not sure what is their motiff. CR is under repair . I have to go 200 meters just to pea. The place is cramp I wish they located in other unit.
