going to a samgyupsalan is usually a treat, however my recent visit to antonio's k-grill was far from enjoyable. upon ariving, I was welcomed by the cozy ambiance and the inviting aroma of the food being grilled. Though initially impressive, what quickly overshadowed any positive impression was the unsettling presence of flies swarming around the dining area. napakaraming langaw 😭 I don't want to seem unfair as my first visit was good with great food and friendly staff, but this time the presence of flies was impossible to ignore.

the foods were very good and the staff were accommodating but this time I couldn't help but notice the flies buzzing around the table. It wasn't just an occasional nuisance; the flies were relentless, landing on plates, glasses, and even the food itself. This pervasive problem made it difficult to enjoy what should have been a delightful meal.

Although the staff was polite and observant, it appeared that they were unaware or unable to manage the issue with flies. It's unfortunate that if there was just a little more focus on cleanliness and pest control. Until then, the presence of flies is a significant deterrent, making it difficult to recommend this restaurant to others 🤦‍♀️

The place actually offer good meat, and I was eager to try their other recommended specials. Unfortunately, I was distracted from the experience by the continual need to repel flies. The food, although it was made fairly well, didn't seem as appetizing given the situation. Ultimately, my friends and I ended up departing the location, spending nearly ₱1,000 to avoid the uncomfortable atmosphere. What a waste of money.

Nung dumating kame, pansin ko na napakaraming flies sa may likuran banda, so umupo kame sa may harap na tapat ng wall fan. Naka swing mode yung fan nila kaya okay lang magluto.

Nung nilapag na ng server yung banchans and meat flies started flying to us 🤦‍♀️ Pero niluto pa din namin yung meat, pero kahit nagssmoke na yung griller, napakarami pa din na flies sa banchans! Yung ibang flies was determined on not leaving the banchans alone! Kahit na tintry namin to ishoo, nandun pa din! 3 beses ako nagpa change ng banchans kase nag swimming na yung flies doon! Yung pangalawang beses ay sa harap pa ng crew nag swimming sa banchan yung flies🤦‍♀️

I asked the crew to set the wall fan steady sa amin, I know it will slow down the cooking process pero ang grabe kase ng flies! Halos 20mins na pero yung niluluto kong meat ay di pa din luto 🤦‍♀️ So I asked the crew politely to instead swing the wall fan again and kung pwede ay table fan na lang ang iharap sa mga banchans and hindi na sa amin and griller para naman makaluto kame ng maayos and to avoid the stpdass flies. (MAY TABLE FAN SA HARAP NAMIN AH, D LANG NAKASAKSAK) Sabi nung isang crew ay sira daw yung fan na yun. After saying that, umalis na siya. Fyi, may ibang table fans pa sa likuran namin na di ginagamit. So inulit ko yung request sa isa pa na crew kase parang walang balak gawan ng paraan nung una yung request ko despite saying the reason. The 1st crew just told the 2nd crew na sira yun. And rinig ko yun since di sila kalayuan. Like 1 table away lang from us. Started to feel off dito, kase may ibang fans naman pero di inuutilize. Ano yun? Hayaan na lang ang customers to eat habang namamaypay ng mga flies? Jusko. Hindi ko first time kumain sa mga places na open area pero dito ko naging first time kumain habang nagpapamaypay ng mga pagkain! 🤦‍♀️

Since hindi inaccomodate nung crew yung request ko, I decided to play it still cool. I thought the flies would just go away after cooking the meat since smokes helps with the flies, but boy I was wrong! Kahit na umuusok na yung lutuan namin, THE FLIES WERE STILL THERE! Pabalik balik pa din sila sa mga nakahain na food! 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

So nirequest ko ulit sa crew na for the love of god ay ilagay sa may harap namin yung table fan para mafan neto ang banchans. Kase nakakawala gana na, d mo na maeenjoy yung samgyup pero pag suway na lang ng mga flies ang ginagawa 🤦‍♀️

Ayun, nilagay nga ni crew yung fan and gumana naman ito! (THE SAME FAN NA SINASABI NIYA NA HINDI DAW GUMAGANA!) PERO! Juskoooooo! YUNG TABLE FAN NAKALAPAG SA TABI NILA NA NAKAHARAP SA AMIN. 1 TABLE AWAY SILA SA AMIN! Sino gusto pataaman nila nung hangin? 🤦‍♀️ my point was to put fans sa may tapat ng table namin para nakaharap sa banchans. Hindi sa amin, di naman kame yung nilalangaw kundi yung pagkain!

Parang yung babayaran mo ay foods for the flies. Napaka 🚩 Siguro 10piraso na beef lang nakain ko dito, SOBRANG NAKAKAWALANG GANA.

Okay, lets say na understandable yung flies kase open area! Pero do something about it naman! Pumunta ang customers para kumain, hindi para magpaypay ng kakainin!

Accomodating naman ang crew sa orders and mababait. Pero when it comes to dealing with the flies, napaka nonchalant!

Nakakaewan, nag avail pa naman ako ng unli cheese at 2 pitchel ng juice pero maski isang dip sa cheese ay di ko nagawa 🤦‍♀️ tapos yung juice di pa kame nakakainom ng isang baso dala ng pandidiri sa pagkain 🤦‍♀️

PS. Sabi pa ng staff yung langaw daw ay mawawala din kapag nag start na kame mag grill. HELLLOOOOOO? KANINA PA KAME NAG GGRILL, naka swing, no swing, naka off fan ay nag ggrill kame, UMUUSOK PA YUN AH PERO NAPAKARAMI PA DIN NA LANGAW ANG BUMABALIK 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 DI NGA SILA DUMADAPO DUN SA MAY GRILLER PERO SA TABLE AY DUMADAPO ITO! 🙄

The food contain cockroaches or Flies because of this the atmosphere of the place became weird, starting from the food service they are not really good since if they are just gonna provide a food with cockroaches or flies then isn’t it good that we rate it from this bottom?, i can’t even tell if i should still rate this shop at any higher than this since it’s difficult if they aren’t gonna even give effort on providing a food that makes customers love their place, and second after i ate the food they have provided next day my stomach start to feel hurt and i started to Have fever, and poop again and again without even knowing why other than remembering what i have eaten yesterday on this shop thirdly because of their food it was difficult for me to continue my work for couple of days even i was still focus on my work i also have to go to hospital every time it get worst since it really hurt sometimes. so i don’t...
