Hap Chan - Drive & Dine — Restaurant in Valenzuela

The food was so bad.

Wonton noodle soup. The wonton wrappers were too thick and tough. Maybe they were uncooked. The noodles were definitely uncooked and clumped together. The soup was bland. We meant to order a small one but ordered regular by mistake, our fault, so much wasted food.

Jumbo Pao. It tasted old, like it sat for a long time and reheated.

Shrimp siomai. Nothing special but it wasn't bad.

This was sad. Hap Chan used to be a favorite of ours. When my brother said the one in Araneta Center was bad, we were hopeful it was a one-off thing....

I recently dined at Hap Chan and ordered their Young Chow fried rice, but I was left extremely disappointed with the quality of the dish. Unfortunately, the rice was overly soggy and lacked the expected flavors and ingredients. It was a far cry from the delicious and well-prepared dish I was anticipating. The lack of texture and taste left much to be desired, making the dining experience less than satisfactory. I hope Hap Chan takes this feedback seriously and works on improving the consistency and quality of their dishes...

Among the Hap Chan branches we've dined at, this location is unfortunately my least favorite. The food quality here doesn't seem to match the standard of other branches. It was also difficult to get the attention of the servers; requesting water or placing additional orders proved challenging due to their infrequent presence.
