The food was so bad.
Wonton noodle soup. The wonton wrappers were too thick and tough. Maybe they were uncooked. The noodles were definitely uncooked and clumped together. The soup was bland. We meant to order a small one but ordered regular by mistake, our fault, so much wasted food.
Jumbo Pao. It tasted old, like it sat for a long time and reheated.
Shrimp siomai. Nothing special but it wasn't bad.
This was sad. Hap Chan used to be a favorite of ours. When my brother said the one in Araneta Center was bad, we were hopeful it was a one-off thing....

Unfortunately, the rice was overly soggy and lacked the expected flavors and ingredients. It was a far cry from the delicious and well-prepared dish I was anticipating.
