This establishment is a fantastic restaurant if you're looking for classic Filipino cuisine. Because there are so many diners, the ordering process takes a little while. However, your order is given all at once when it is prepared. The meals served here are mouthwatering and satisfying, and they are served in an elegant style appropriate for a restaurant.
Detailed Review: We visited this eatery as a family. There was plenty of room to park our car when we arrived. The walls and ceiling are constructed from naturally occuring materials like bamboo, giving the space a traditional Filipino atmosphere as soon as you enter. We were greeted by staff members who then led us to our eating location. We ate in a bamboo hut that had a table in the centre of it. Plates, bowls, and glass cups were on the table. Delicious dishes from western cuisine to Filipino delicacies were offered on the menu. We made our meal selections, and the server then arrived to enquire about our order.
Our order took around 45 minutes to prepare, so there was a significant wait. But because of the lovely views this place offers, the wait goes unnoticed. While you wait, you may stroll around a little and snap some pictures with your loved ones. I spotted a wooden kayak on a bridge created from an artificial lake. With floating dead fish and some rubbish, the lake wasn't particularly clean. Nevertheless, it was a pleasant encounter and a terrific photo opportunity. Our order was completed and set on the table. We couldn't wait to have a mouthful because of the wonderful meal presentation!
After finishing and paying for it, we returned home. Despite the negatives, they are generally trivial and won't affect my rating of 5 stars! We appreciate the great food...
Read moreGood food, good ambiance, good service, a nice place to bring your family and friends. We visited this place last week and we ordered for the Salo-salo package which includes potato wedge, pinakbet, bulalo, crispy pata, baked scallops, fried chicken, pancit bihon, rice and a choice between houseblend iced tea or lychee. We suggest you go with their houseblend iced tea. Bulalo, crispy pata and pinakbet are all good! Baked scallops were small and was just 8 pieces when served, but it tastes good also. The pancit bihon was so-so. Fried chicken was good also. Then we added a Combo 3 for a bucket of six beer plus crispy sisig. Sisig was fine. Service was good, waiters were courteous. It took a little while for the food when served but it's understandable since there were a lot of customers that time when we visited the place. For the food area, you can choose between the house-type dining area, the calesa which is usually a table good for two to four people. We chose the kubo type which was good for a big family. There was also a long table just in case you don'r fit in the kubo area. The kubo area were all in the river side of Kamayan. We booked for the P4,000 consumable that time. If you're new in Tagalag, you'll notice a helicopter right at its venue, its landmark. Parking area is big, there's one in front of Kamayan and some more at the side of the property. Afternoon is good to visit Tagalag to witness the sunset and to see the river (at the kubo area). Nighttime is good since you will see all the lighted features of the restaurant. Some fishes and birds are also part of the sceneries at Kamayan sa Palapat. This is located in...

Good for events like wedding, baptismal, birthday and so on...the staff here were all polite and attentive.. the price of their food was just so-so or should I say in mid range.. My personal favourite dish at this restaurant was their Pinakbet.. it was so delicious and of course healthy.. I highly recommend Kamayan Sa Palapat for those people that are looking for a great place to stay and a great food to eat.. by the way their grand opening is on...
