Gerry's Grill - L'arcada Complex — Restaurant in Zamboanga City

As good regular of the different locations of Gerrys grill, I have to say the food was great. Though they used to go on the extra mile to serve our plates individually but now they just stack it. Unlike other branches. Not very demure and not very mindful. Its giving kanal-esq hospitality service not aircon cold hospitality service. As an above pay for the average filipino dinning restaurant I expected more on their fancy service not like kainderia etiquette. What stood out in this branch was their bathroom, care and aesthetic. My husband had a very bad stomach ache, LBM, while using their bathroom he felt calm and very at ease. One of the male staff came over to check up on him if he was doing okay. Worried if the food made his tummy hurt. Dont worry chubby waiter, it wasnt. Thank you for the concern. He has a weak and fragile stomach. Over all great time here. Will come back again if we visit...

Overpriced and Overcooked. Satan would be impressed by the demonic prices and cooking. We ordered sisig, one of the few meals we ate that night. It was burnt where you could strongly taste the charring which you would not expect from the pricing. I expected a decent meal based on the price but I was sorely mistaken for having such expectations. I can't in good conscience recommend this restaurant.

Personally I can't say much about the service since there were only 2 groups eating at the time. Although I was put off by the waitress when she was asked about recommendation but responded with uncertainty.

The service was cordial and pleasant but the beef kare kare was not a palatable experience. The meat was too hard and I was given.mostly beef tripe. I'm taking it out for my dogs instead. The bulalo beef was soft enough but the soup did not taste good. It tasted too artificial laden with broth cubes and msg. I'm a chef too so I know. They had patis and chilli for condiments but no calamansi. The last time I was here the rice served was liken to nfa quality. I really wanted to have dinner at the other resto across if not for mg wife craving for soup. If I had the choice I wouldn't have bothered coming back at Jerry's.
