I recently had the opportunity to stay at Hotel Marcelina, and unfortunately, my overall experience was marred by the unprofessional behavior of one particular male manager or who I think is the officer in charge. While I appreciate the efforts of the hotel staff to create a pleasant environment, the conduct of the manager was deeply disappointing.||||During my stay, I observed that this manager interacting with hotel staff in a manner that can only be described as unprofessional. This behavior was evident not only in his communication with guests but also in his interactions with the hotel staff. As a guest and a former hotelier, witnessing such behavior from a manager not only diminished the quality of my stay but also created a negative atmosphere within the hotel.||||One specific incident that stood out occurred when I overheard him engaged in a conversation with someone else. The tone and language used were unprofessional and did not align with the standards of hospitality one would expect from a reputable establishment. It was disheartening to witness a manager representing the hotel in such a manner. With his behavior this individual should not be working in a hotel. ||||The impact of his behavior extended beyond my personal observations, as I noticed a visible discomfort among the hotel staff. Reply “oh yeah, so just subtract another P500.” A good accounting practice should reflect all your credits hindi lang yun utang mo. My friend dropped off a package for me at the front desk. My wife and I came in shortly and the front desk staff acknowledged us but didn’t give the package. My friend called me to say that he dropped off a package for me at the front desk. I came down and it was then that they gave me the package. If my friend didn’t call and I didn’t claim my package what would they do with the unclaimed package?Hmmmm… At their restaurant, my son ate breakfast and was billed P273.05. They wanted him to pay P274 because according to the resto cashier they round up. My son said that usual practice is rounding up if it is over 50 centavos and you round down when it is less than 50 centavos. It is a very small amount but…only one peso but it seems like the accounting practices of this hotel is “everything should be to the advantage...
