Localhost Workspace & Cafe — Restaurant in Zamboanga del Norte

Customers, be warned of indifferent customer service 👎🏻

The whole place was good, clean, and inviting. The food was great, though not cheap, but was fairly priced and delicious. The coffee was exceptional.

But what brought a huge disappointment and spoiled our visit was how we were treated by the cashier– a dark guy with a severely blond-dyed hair.

When we came in, he seemed critical of how we looked right off the bat. He was extremely indifferent to our queries. When we asked about their coffee selection or available pastries, he responded with noticeable sarcasm. We really felt like he didn't want us there. When asked if they have wifi we could share, he seemed irritated and told us it's not free, to which we absolutely do not have a problem with. We even complied and paid the reasonable fee. We don't know what his problem was. We were nothing but nice, it wasn't even a busy day, and his coworker (black uniform) was pleasant to us.

We just ignored how he treated us. I thought he was just like that to everyone else or maybe he's just having a bad day, but no, he was courteous with the rest of the patrons. 🥹

He should probably take a class or two on hospitality management. Or maybe NOT work in a service oriented establishment, idk, but that seems like a great idea he should consider.

Dapitan has a growing coffee culture, and Localhost, is by far the best that the city can offer.

Every cup of coffee they prepare are meticulously handmade to perfection.

Barista is very enthusiastic in answering the question from responding on what beans they are using up to walking you through the process involved in preparing their specialty blends.

Localhost menu is diverse. They have exclusive offers that you cannot see in other cafes in Dapitan or in Dipolog.

They have a workspace where you can just binge-watch movies, study or prepare important work related reports. Whole l-day use will just cost you 250.00, and it comes with bottomless brewed coffee or tea.

I also saw interesting titles in their shelf.

Wifi is relatively strong too.

My only comment is the space. It can only accomodate limited costumer at a given time and considering their growing reputation, they have to consider...

Good tea But was disappointed when we went there and tried to have a seat but no vacant seat was to no avail, because there were people who were playing blowfish or cards inside the cafe and occupying the space, my partner was a pwd and yet they didn't even try to offer a comfortable seat for my partner. But for the food and the tea it was great For the crew she was good but can't do anything about the people occupying the space (people who are playing cards ) , well can't blame her maybe it's someone who is in authority of her.
