I have been going to this place once or twice every week since they opened. I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and the incredible aroma of the meats on the grill on my first visit. The place is curiously elusive at first and once you are inside the restaurant, the ambiance is quite cozy and appealing with the right amount of light and color. The garden setup is the best part of the restaurant with ample space for parking, a bike stand and seating area is deeply peaceful.
I always try to order something new to explore their versatile offerings of grill items and authentic Indian dishes which can captivate your taste buds. Lamb's ribs were very juicy and succulent which came with kasza, salad, and complemented with a side of sauce. Their traditional offerings of Indian dishes are also mouth-watering and among my favorites are mutton vindaloo, saag paneer, and the Kachchi Biryani (Available on the weekends).
This place is perfect for groups and romantic enough for casual date nights. The owner of the restaurant is very caring, friendly, and wouldn't hesitate to offer you his insight into the food he is serving. Hats off to the chef who is very attentive to customer's preferences and don't be surprised if you get the delicious Carrot Halwa as a "Compliment of the Chef" time to time. I guess that's his way of appreciating your two cents about his work of art. I have definitely found my hangout place as this place not only family and atmosphere friendly but also...
Read moreFirst of all you were not greeted when you entered, secondly after a while a menu was brought without saying a word. They never asked if we wanted something to drink before we even ordered food. We had chosen 2 dishes of which only 1 was delivered and then had to ask for something to drink ourselves. And to top it all off we had to pay for 2 dishes and 2 drinks! My dish cost 46 złoty and the drinks 10 złoty each but we had to pay 110 złoty. We did not argue, we are from the Netherlands (they did not speak English) and my partner was very angry, that had resulted in a fight. We will never come here again!
I want to say something back to the owner; There was not many people in the restaurant so not busy when we arrived, maybe because we sat around the corner inside nobody could see us. The ober didn't speak enough English and we took the Translate app for the menu. We are not Polish you know. If the portions you see on the photo are 2 dishes then the amount is very very very small because it looked like 1 dish. I think your reaction is nonsense and because of this, you definitaly will not...
Read moreAoia is truly an Asian restaurant. It has Turkish delights and South Asian delicacies. The menu is enriched with fresh and innovative grilled items, as well as spicy improvised curries. The restaurant also offers mouth-watering fish dishes, which are usually not available in Warsaw. I have been there a number of times. Each time I tried different dishes. I was not dissatisfied once. Apart from my gastronomic experience, I was extremely satisfied with the warmth of the management, including the kitchen staff. I also do not hide my admiration for the all-time smiling owner who himself oversees the service and ensures the quality. I wish the restaurant maintains its reputation and continues its improvement to satisfy large...
