Subway — Restaurant in Warsaw

The main issue I had is the lady who is working there first put on the gloves for the hygiene then cut my sandwiches, put in the meat and cheese. As you might guess to melt the cheese, she held the oven handle which might or might not be well sterilised, then opened it and grabbed the sandwich transfer tool with the gloves. Which again might or might not be sterilised and finally touched the screen with the gloves to start to oven.

Basically with the gloves on she touched multiple places where I believe not that clean. Then she continued, grabbed the sides like cucumber, onion etc and put it in to my sandwich with probably not so clean gloves anymore.

Couldnt it be done in this order; Prepare the sandwich until the oven, take off your gloves and place where it might be clean, do the oven part, then put back the “clean” gloves. Since they didnt touch anything but my food. Then continue the process.

Here I dont know If she was told about this procedure or not. If not I would blame the manager and the company for not keeping their staff well educated about the most important thing in food industry; hygiene. If she was told but forgot to do it or was lazy then, I would blame the individual.

But whichever may be true, I dont feel comfortable enough to go back here.

Also normally I like the subway bread which js the main reason, I have subway time to time. But this time it wasnt fresh which disappointed...

I reached 1:42 at subway and there was queue I waited there till the second last person. When was making the sandwich for customer who was before me even still there was time and the lady told me that it's break time. I asked her if she don't want to handle me as customer then she supposed to inform me earlier. But she even don't want give intensions. Extremely poor behavior.
