Coffee & Dreams — Restaurant in Wrocław

So I came to this cafe to order a coffee to go. As per the rules, I was wearing a mask when I entered the cafe and kept wearing it because I wasn’t planning to sit inside.

The owner, the guy, asked me to take off my mask. I thought I didn’t understand correctly, so I asked him again, and he said - ‘take off your mask’. It wasn’t a polite request. I told him - ‘It’s okay, I am fine with it’. To which this guy said - ‘No, I am not fine with it.’ I was completely taken by aback by such a shrewd response. Not only is this against the rules, but this guy had no right to tell me that I should take off my mask.

I again told him, ‘It’s a free choice, I can keep wearing my mask if I want to’. And this guy replied - ‘Oh, You can think so’. I am not even sure what he meant by this, but by this time I was so offended that I did not want to continue any conversation. If I had not paid already, I would have not even bothered take anything from this guy. I have lived in Poland for 5 years and this was no communication mistake. Even though we spoke in English, he understood every word and meant every thing he said.

Btw, your coffee, the cappuccino I ordered, was equally poor, no surprise there. The food you serve matches your behavior....

The only good thing, I can write about this place is that they have awesome sandwiches with fresh ingredients. I enjoyed mine a lot. However, I find the guy who runs the place quite ignorant and arrogant. As for someone who knows "everything" about coffee, he could not explain what types of roast the cafe has to offer. In fact, when I asked politely what coffee they had, he just laughed and pointed to the menu. I specified, that I'm interested in different roasts, and he just did not know. After I asked to make me a cold drink and he just laughed in my face and said that I need to find different place and they serve proper Italian coffee. Well, I happened to know a thing or two about coffee and I was genuinely disappointed in his ignorance. The guy is close minded and thinks he knows everything about coffee. UPD: I wrote it cause you behaved rude and ignorant! When customer ask you what he wants, you give it and sell, not a prove that it’s not what he wants, if that is hard to you to understand, then you are significantly unprofessional! Which means that you shouldn’t provide such a type of business and it’s better to you come back where you from
