Duna do Meio — Restaurant in Ílhavo

This place is TERRIBLE !!! We call in to make reservations the guy on the phone says they don’t take reservations it’s first come for served for us to come at 7pm when they open. Then we get there and the server very rudely tells us we can’t come in without a reservations but we can wait until one opens up meanwhile they have 1 table that’s occupied. We called the manager and he said they had reservations since the they before so WHY IN THE H*ELL WOULD THEY TELL US THEY DONT DO RESERVATIONS??? If they were booked that’s all they had to say and we wouldn’t have gone there. This is no way to run a business. It’s disgusting what they did. They should just be honest with people. A tale of 2 crabs. We ordered eels. Sardines, soup, turbot and 1 crab to share. I can't understand why in a place that sells a lot of seafood that they served a crab that had been stored in a fridge far too long the meat was so dry and hard to get out the shell. Maybe they thought we were tourists and passing through. We showed the crab to the manager/owner and it was replaced with a sweet fresh crab like we expected in the first place. Paella special was excellent. Truly one of the best my husband and I have had. Restaurant ambiance was clean and tasteful.
