O Franguinho das Ferreiras — Restaurant in Albufeira

We were advised to come here for authentic Portuguese food! This is about 20 minutes drive from Albuferia but really really worth it.

There is no menu for this restaurant. They ask what level of spice you’d like your chicken and if you’d like chips and salad and then they begin to make the order.

Food is quick to the table, fresh and so delicious! The staff are friendly and this place was packed!

We had the chicken chips and salad with bread and olives and some ice cream for dessert and the total came to €30.30. I ate so quickly I forgot to take pictures but if you are willing to head out to this place you will not be disappointed.

Recommended by a local for excellent piri piri chicken and that's exactly what you get. No menu no fuss just how much chicken do you want and what drinks. Extremely simple but joyous meal as the chicken is exceptionally flavoursome. Delicious fries and salad to make a filling cheapish and tasty meal. Place gets busy fast so come early and don't expect anything other than chicken chips and salad. Vegans and veggies it's a pointless trip. Tiny place tucked away at the side of the main road. Location was wrong on Google maps but I changed so hopefully you can find it! Food is simple and tasty, just good grub. Choose how many chickens, they're smaller so 1.5 chickens was plenty for 2 people. Chips and tomato salad. Great. Peppery heat to the chicken. Desert was absolutely unreal, algarvea cake, so so good!
