Sabor No Prato — Restaurant in Albufeira

Honestly we didn't expect much, we were driving past, and popped in. Staff spoke enough English to get everything spot on. They were friendly and attentive.

The food..... wow everything was soooooo tasty I had skewer of beef and one of chicken wrapped in bacon with cassava and beans and rice. Really Really good.

If we were here longer this place would be a regular visit.

Second visit October 2024. Slightly less positive. Possibly just language barrier. Food pretty good, but we're much more limited on choice. I couldn't have the ribeye or bacon wrapped chicken skewers, even after showing pictures was told no. Also only after paying was it explained that desert and coffee were included. My wife's country chicken stew type thing, although tasty was skin and bones. Very little actual meat. The two other meals were fine. But we drove an hour from where we were staying to eat here. Last time it was so good I had to return.

I hope if I return in the future it will be back...

I recently visited Sabor no prato - the Brazilian restaurant in Albufeira and I was blown away by the quality of the food. The meals were amazing and exceeded my expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly and added to the overall great atmosphere of the restaurant. On weekends, they serve the famous Brazilian dish Feijoada, which is a must-try for anyone who loves traditional cuisine. On top of that, they play some fantastic Brazilian music, making it feel like I was transported to Brazil. It's no surprise that this restaurant is a popular spot, as it was quite busy on the weekends. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a true Brazilian experience in Albufeira. It is definitely my favorite restaurant and a must-visit for anyone...

Perfect place for lunch! We ordered Prato del dia. The soup was amazing… everyone was a bit uncertain about having soup on a hot July day but it was the best soup I’ve ever had. The 3 different dishes we ordered were delicious, all served with rice fries and salad. The desserts (we tried 3 different types) were all to die for!! Our waiter was very helpful and pleasant!
