The Social Bar with Indian Cuisine — Restaurant in Albufeira

INCREDIBLE.

Being an American Indian for the United States and trying Indian food here was something I wanted to try, and I am so glad I came here. There are several of Indian places but this one was the highest rated and for a reason! It separates itself from every other Indian restaurant with their food, their personality, their flavors, and their love for their customers! This place literally has everything you could want. I was looking up an Indian restaurant for my wife and The Social Bar had perfect reviews and honest reviews. Every single review mentioned the owners Meet and Palak and had to come see them for myself. When I met them they were already instantly like family. They greeted us and welcomed us, and made us feel so comfortable. I asked for a medium lager and he gave me this hugeeee skull mug that was easily twice as much for the same price. We talked for a few minutes and they checked in on us always. The service was definitely 10/10. I can see why the staff is so attentive and people just love the owners because you can feel genuine love and happiness from them for their customers.

The food was 10/10. My wife got paneer burji and she said it tasted like she was back home in india with her grandmothers cooking. The flavor was 10/10. The spices were 10/10. They can change the level of spice for you as well. I had the chicken wings and I am a huge chicken wing guy from the states. These were 10/10. They were hot, crispy, and so much flavor. I actually ordered them 3 times because they were so so so good!!! We also got the lamb biryani and it was like tasting heaven. Everything we ordered took only a few minutes. They were so fast and efficient and I can see why this place runs so smoothly. We came in the morning and we got the pani puri and chicken wings again! The pani puri tasted 100% fresh and authentic and it was literally the best pani puri I have ever had. The owner even told people to come try the food and if you don’t like it then it’s free. That’s how you know the food is so amazing and guaranteed to be the best!

Let’s talk about the ambience and energy. I stayed here for 9 hours from 17:00 until 02:00. That’s how much fun I had. The music was great. The customers were great. The owners were talking and getting to know everyone and they really know their customers. It’s the little details and the little things that really matter. They stay open super late until 2 in the morning and I did not want to leave. They let you play your own music and everyone was just vibing! It was the perfect place to start my day and end my night.

The only thing I was upset with is that I wish I found this place on my first day and not my last because I would’ve came here every day and all day. The owners Meet and Palak are literally one of a kind. So genuine. They are selfless and care about their customers. If you want great food. Great ambience. Great customer service. This is the place to be. The best Indian restaurant in ALL of Portugal, not just Albufeira. I can’t wait to see you guys again!!!...
