Sometimes I don't really get high ratings of some spots. This is one of them. I mean it was fine, but that is that, fine. The things that could be improved: Service was constantly confused, as we got attended by three waiters at the same time, which resulted in getting our main dishes first and soups just 30 seconds after, so we had to decide which will go cold. The sweet potatoes were amazing, yes, but the rest of both of our dishes were okay at best. My chicken stew was full of fragments of bones, the portion was average (contrary to 'huge' portions claimed in other reviews). Also, I think I might have been overcharged, maybe due to general confusion of the staff - hard to tell, really, as we were not given a recipt. Overall this place can mostly boast with nice garden and overall looks, but the rest was, in my humble...

We had an excellent meal at Restaurante Museu da Batata Doce. The food was truly delicious - the beef sirloin steak was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the tuna steak was equally impressive. The ambiance is fantastic, with a charming and relaxing atmosphere, especially in the outdoor seating area which is beautifully set up.

The only downside was the service. While the staff were kind and professional, there simply weren't enough of them to handle all the tables efficiently. It's clear they're doing their best, but the restaurant would benefit from having more waiters to match the quality of the food and setting. Still, a lovely place worth visiting - just be patient...

When we arrived there was a line waiting for tables, I asked the waiter about the waiting time and he told it should be quick - we ended up waiting for 1,5 hours. While we were waiting we asked the waiter a few times about the time and he was very dismissive and almost everyone else in the line left, tired of waiting and being ignored. We waited because (after waiting for 45min) it was too late to go to another restaurant.

After we got a table the service was better. Food was good (octopus was a little overcooked) and the garden is beautiful...

Don't get your hopes up! It's a snackbar with smart marketing. We had the Veggie "hamburger" which wasn't a hamburger but a veggie patty without bread, with some unsalted slices of sweet potato and a bit of unflavoured lettuce on the side. And the chicken: same. So so tasteless and uninspiring. Service was also dissapointing, the waitress hardly spoke to us. They sell overpriced products at the entrance and put the starters on the table before you ordered anything. We took some Pastel de Nata's home, which were surprisingly good though.

Early evening on a Saturday night, the place was almost empty at first — but then it filled up. This restaurant was recommended by Alentero Litoral Caravan Park, and they made a good choice. We started with a soup, followed by plenty of fish options. The food convinced us, though the staff didn’t fully win us over — some days are better than others, I guess. That said, we also really liked the restaurant itself: mostly made of wood, which gives it a warm atmosphere, not to mention the local products they offer
