We stopped in to try burgers. First the service was excellent and the cafe a has a great atmosphere. The smash burger though was a regular patty was not a “smashed burger” it was exactly like the burger with egg we ordered. The cheese seemed to be a processed slice and although that’s okay the burgers would be greatly elevated by using a cheddar or any other cheese in its place. The buns tasted like they were just out of the package buns, fresh but average. The burger is what I would expect from a pub burger not a 9€ burger. With many bakeries in the area for that price I would expect fresh baked buns. I rate this tavern as four stars because of atmosphere and service but only 3 stars for the food as the burger is only a small step up from fast food. I would say the fry’s...

The place has a very good service from waiters, but the kitchen... terrible. Never order a steak here, they have no ideia what is the difference between rare, medium rare, or else. I've ordered a medium rare and it came well done. I've asked to return and I've received an almost rare meat. Returned again and it came back better, but clearly it was back to the pan so it was hard. They have no idea what they are doing. Just a terrible experience. I would...

Francesinha mediana. Estava à espera de melhor tendo em conta a "publicidade". Eles não assumem que a francesinha é acompanhada por batata frita por isso é necessário referir isso (não é muito habitual). Acaba por ficar muito caro com batata à parte. O molho é espesso mas demasiado artificial no sentido em que tem um intenso sabor a natas. Um empregado de mesa foi mal educado quando lhe estávamos a fazer um pedido...O pedido, como é óbvio, só demorou uns segundos mas repetiu "diga", "diga", "diga" com um ar nervoso....Acredito que estivesse muito apressado e o restaurante estava cheio...mas o cliente não tem culpa e sem pedidos não se faz negócio. Aliás acabou por não trazer nada, esqueceu-se.... Nesse caso terão de rever o número de empregados em determinado horário. Depois dessa situação houve um segundo esquecimento por parte de outro colaborador. Ou seja, e como diz o povo,"come-se" a francesinha mas verdadeiramente nada de especial e muito longe da qualidade de outros restaurantes, até dos pouco conhecidos e com francesinhas muitíssimo...
