KFC Caldas da Rainha — Restaurant in Caldas da Rainha

For my review, I apologise. I do not mean any offense, just purely hope that with this review, you will improve on your service and food.

Disappointed with the delivery service (nothing to do with Glovo delivery service, just KFC).

Firstly, packaging was badly done as drinks and the warm food were shared in 1 whole paper bag. Upon receiving, batatas palitos were already cold, burgers were cold and the cold profiteroles were hidden between burgers.

Secondly, there were 3 menus, ordered however for mine, I chose sem tomate but tomate was still given in my burger.

Thirdly, for overall rating of the food, it isn't near good. The meat in the burgers were very dry.

For starters, crew staff should separate cold food and warm food in separate bags. As for the mistake of ingredient, staff crew should be more aware of the details. As for the food, at least the hot wings were the best as they were juicy and crisp. Second to that, the profiteroles were good too. As for the food, I don't know if the restaurant or the supplier could do anything to improve on making the meat juicier, but it would be nice if you can do something about it.

I have tasted KFC burgers from Singapore, Malaysia and Australia and the meat here cannot be compared to their meat quality. Very big difference 😭

However, I understand that there may be a pool of customers dying to try KFC as it is newly opened. Hopefully as time passes, with the staff crew less stressed, maybe everything will be better.

If you work with deliveries, this will be the worst place to get an order from.

They are very slow and extremely disrespectful.

My advice to you is, if you get an order from them, and you have apps, just go and focus on working on the other apps, leave them waiting for 30min then you can come back to take it.

By the looks they either used very old oil or someone was not paying attention to the timer. I think both. After tasting it, there was a very doughy texture underneath the burned outer crust. There was too much breading and the temperature was set too high. I'm guessing so they could shovel it out more quickly. I have added a picture of the two drumsticks that were included in the order (which were pretty representative) and have to wonder how you send out food...
