O Palma — Restaurant in Caminha

Being portuguese, I'm extremely embarrassed for this location. The food is very poorly made without taste and half came out cold after 40 minutes of waiting when items in the menu are made in bulk. Super expensive for poor quality food. Having eaten all over the world, I have to say that my own culture restaurant in this location makes Portugal food of less quality when in really is the opposite. This property could become a million euros restaurant with a true representation of the regional culinary especially where it is located and how many tourists...

Not worth a visit. Ordered a puff pastry with meat filling for starters. Got the frozen type of indian samosa you can get at the supermarket with a curry and guessing chicken filling. Plain-tasting to say the least.

Procurei um restaurante em Moledo onde pudesse comer um peixe fresco e onde pudesse apreciar o mar. Devo dizer que a escolha não é fácil, pois os bons restaurantes estão retirados um ou duas ruas acima e os bares próximos da praia servem refeições rápidas, como sanduíches ou cachorros. O Bar O Palma, foi a excepção encontrada. O serviço de atendimento foi simples, directo e conciliador face às questões levantadas. De entrada vieram azeitonas brancas e pão. Depois vieram amêijoas brancas (as pretas tinham acabado) que estavam deliciosas. Veio ainda um pratinho, apenas para degustar a feijoada de búzios, que estava divinal. Como o robalo tinha terminado, tínhamos ocupado a mesa por volta das 13h30min, foi sugerido o Pampo, também conhecido por peixe-porco, com uma carne branca e mais consistente. Um verdadeiro pitéu que vale a pena experimentar. A refeição foi acompanhada de um vinho branco fresco Quinta do Cardo. Preço por pessoa cerca de 25 eur....
