I have mixed feelings about this restaurant.
I stayed in Cascais for a few days and I wanted to try some authentic Portuguese seafood. I asked the waiter for recommendations and he suggested a prawn and a sea bass. These items were both "market price" but I had already looked over the menu and saw that things were generally in the 20-50 euro range and that's about what I was expecting to pay.

Read moreMarea Cascais is a true gem by the sea. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and a view that takes your breath away. The restaurant’s elegant, modern design complements its spectacular location, offering panoramic ocean views that make every meal feel special.
The food is nothing short of excellent—fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Whether you’re indulging in the seafood (which is a must) or exploring their creative takes on Mediterranean cuisine, every dish is crafted with care and a refined touch. The wine selection is also superb, with local and international options that pair perfectly with the menu.
What really sets Marea apart is the atmosphere. It strikes the perfect balance between relaxed and refined. Whether you’re here for a romantic dinner, a sunset lunch with friends, or a special celebration, it feels like the right place.
Highly recommend for anyone visiting Cascais—or even locals looking for something exceptional. I’ll definitely...
