O Biscoito — Restaurant in Cascais

Came to this restaurant as I read some good reviews here on Maps. My experience was absolutely terrible, so I'd never recommend anyone to come eat at this place, especially if you're a tourist. I had a pork dish with some fries and to begin with, the fries were frozen which is already indicative of the quality of the food they serve. The meat was awful: it was hard and dry and really difficult to eat in my honest opinion. The food overall was really oily as well. This was the first time that having gone to a restaurant I couldn't even eat what was on my plate, and that's why it's getting 1 star. I'd give it 0 if I couId though. sardines - delicious, cooked perfectly. seating - crowded, uncomfortable with chairs close together. people waiting to be seated made the dining area feel claustrophobic. service - certain staff were hospitable and caring, other staff were stressed and gave a vibe that caused further discomfort and a desire to find somewhere else where our presence was more appreciated.

summary: I would definitely visit again to taste the meat on the menu as the food here...

Quando chegámos perguntámos se havia mesa para seis, o dono reagiu como nos fosse fazer um grande favor. O atendimento é muito mau e muito lento; sempre que precisámos de alguma coisa tivemos que ir ao balcão, porque ignoravam a mesa; só vieram à mesa deliberadamente uma vez, para perguntar os pedidos. Só disponibilizaram 1 menu para 6 pessoas. O Bitoque e o Bife da Vazia foram os primeiros pratos a chegar passado muito tempo, e quando chegaram os outros já estavam frios. Pedimos 3 pratos de Lulas Grelhadas, e trouxeram uma quantidade mínima de molho de manteiga. Tivemos que pedir 3 vezes que trouxessem mais molho. Fiquei mais de 10 minutos à espera, enquanto os pratos ficavam frios. Passado muito tempo de termos terminado, o dono veio recolher o azeite e o vinagre, “porque lhe fazia impressão ver as coisas assim”. É pena não lhe fazer impressão deixar os clientes à espera, a ter que comer a comida fria, e com os pratos sujos à frente. Quando veio servir as sobremesas, pousou tudo num só sítio e disse para sermos nós a distribuir. O ambiente é muito desagradável, muito barulhento e congestionado.
