À Terra — Restaurant in Castro Marim

Another disappointing visit to A Terra and definitely our last. After a previous bad experience we decided to check out if the rebranding had brought any improvements but sadly not.

Lunch Menu very limited Ceaser salad with less than fresh lettuce and very bland overall . Chicken with chewy skin and veins not removed

Pizza soggy base and too much cheese and not cooked long enough

Limited menu for children Fish fingers not made on site and staff not aware of what type of fish they contain. Surely at this level homemade should be standard. Requested small pizza but told not possible

Staff in general not interested or friendly.

We have been visiting this hotel since it opened and the standard continually dropping which is a pity as started off so well. Unfortunately we will not...

First two times we went there with my parents and our baby the food was amazing, staff super friendly and very welcoming.

Went a third time just me and my wife, didnt book as we were not sure what time we would finish golf, and at 7.15pm with a pretty empty room, they said they couldnt accomodate us.

Apparently they dont accept bookings from non-guests before 9pm.

Very disapointed, specially after the good experience we had the first...

très déçu par notre expérience du déjeuner au restaurant A Terra. pourtant, cela démarrait bien avec un parking juste devant l'entrée du lieu, et une déco sympa et friendly genre Vila Monte... Mais la comparaison s'arrête hélas ici. on nous installe dans une grande terrasse semi couverte très agréable, avec quasi personne à table. les tables se sont hélas vite remplies de convives avec beaucoup d'enfants très bruyants et peu surveillés par leurs parents... nous avons dû trouver une table plus au calme pour s'éloigner des mômes qui braillaient partout. Notre commande (1 salade et 1 pizza) a mis 30 à 40 minutes pour arriver... La salade n'était pas assaisonnée et le saumon annoncé n'était pas au RV. la pâte de la pizza était assez particulière, assez proche du cracker, et plutôt éloignée de la pâte traditionnelle. la mozza se présente en petites boules non cuites, comme celles qu'on trouve au supermarché pour l'apéro. Pour finir, l'addition comprenait 2 couverts que nous n'avions pas commandés ni reçus, et une bouteille d'eau pétillante commandée mais jamais apportée. Le tout avec une serveuse ne comprenant pas l'anglais ni le français.

Mon épouse rêvait de longue date de déjeuner/diner dans ce lieu, la déception n'en est que...
