My fiance & parents booked Pe Na Areia last minute as we travelled Portugal's coast. The owner was very kind and hospitable. We booked two rooms: a room with a queen-sized bed pn the 2nd floor (with a shared bathroom) and another room with a queen-sized bed and private bathroom (with a key) next to the kitchen. The rooms were decently sized, and the 2nd floor bedroom had a balcony overlooking the pool. ||||There was tv, air conditioning, a desk, free wifi, plenty of storage space, and extra bedding. The only room complaint was the extremely heavy door concrete/steel door from the bedroom to the balcony. I could barely open it and the locking mechanism was a little flimsy.||||There is free continental breakfast (croissants, bread with cheese, ham, butter, yogurts, coffee, tea, the works) and plenty of space to sit down both indoors and outdoors by the pool to take your breakfast. Check out was around 11-12. The rate was decent- can't remember specifics but it was around $50-75 euros per room. It was about average. ||||The beach is about a good 10-15 minute walk by foot. Very clean sand, but the waters were quite murky when you stepped in at first. Very windy, too.||||There's a great restaurant nearby called Ze da Tasca a few minutes away by car. They have excellent food at a reasonable price. If you want something a little more special,...
Read moreA disgusting place, full of dust, where nothing worked. Despite our warning concerning the very poor conditions, we were refused to get it cleaned again and all malfunctions were not repaired - the cook only worked on half the dishes due to accumulated food from previous visitors, the air conditioned in the kitchen was not repaired, etc. Moreover the kitchen lacked essential items such as coffee machine and even cutlery and dishes. We recommend everyone not to choose this place, better to sleep on the beach, at...
Read moreSinto-me enganado. Liguei durante 3 dias antes do check-in para esclarecer dúvidas e nunca atenderam.
