The Palacio do Pao is a great combination of a wide ranging bakery and a great cafe serving excellent food and superb coffee. It's located in Espinho, an upmarket beach resort with much else to enjoy, about a fifteen minute drive south of Porto. Every Monday there is a very large and diverse market that offers fresh food, plants and gardening tools, clothes of every type and style for women, men and children, bedding and kitchen items, fabrics and much more. And on the first Sunday of each month there is an antiques and collectables market at the same location as the Monday market, which tourists and locals alike both look forward to.
