The owner (didn’t catch his name) is the nicest person ever. I came here to eat before my last 3km to Esposende and he came to my table and drew the Camino symbol and Fao on a blue stone and said it was for me. I was sitting there for a while because I was in a lot of pain from the day so he let me sit on his patio tables while they closed the cafe. He then was leaving with his wife and they offered me a ride to Esposende. I didn’t take it but I wish I did because I’d love to hear his life story. We had the daily meal which was 8.50 euros (soup, main meal, a drink, and coffee), and it was so much food that I couldn't finish it. But no worries, they packed the rest and I could snack on it later. He also suggested his favourite drinks and snacks and they were all great suggestions. The toilets are clean. I wish I could speak better spanish or Portuguese so I can really tell them how hospitable they are even we are just passing by. It was gray and rainy weather that day but their smiles are sunshine to the pilgrims of Camino Portuguese.
