What a delightful little place in the heart of Fão. It does not look like much from the outside but once upstairs in the restaurant we were pleasantly surprised by the lovely view of the church and ocean. The service came with a smile and the staff were very helpful in making our choices. The menu is simple but the food was cooked fresh and was very flavoursome. We paid under €25 for two meals, a small bottle of Mateus, glass of wine, salad as extra and bread; great value for money. We would definitely recommend any and all to try...

Super friendly and professional staff! Even though it was busy, they managed to get us a table inside, during Saturday lunch, without a reservation. We had to wait a bit outside, but they served us a drink on the fountain in front. We were a bit disappointed with the " coteletta with shrimp cream" but the Raia was to die for! And if you think you had enough? The deserts ( home made) take you to a different planet. Quality/ Price: very reasonable, but the service with a smile 😁 makes it worthwhile to visit! I'd recommend this place...

Very pleasant local restaurant delivering food and service a little bit higher than normal Portuguese fare. Most Portuguese restaurants have a limited choice so it was refreshing to see liver on the menu do dia and it was very tasty, just a bit of a shame it was served with crisps (potato chips) rather than "proper" chips/french fries. I should have chosen boiled potatoes. The meal for two including soup starters, a bottle of wine and a dessert (chocolate tarte which was also very good) all came to less than €40....
