Café Zé-Zéa — Restaurant in Faro

The most adorable authentic philantropic host in the world who welcomes you friendly and offers the best food you can hope for. Good drinks too. The wine is fine, the food perfect. The homemade toasts {Tuna!!), the Burgers (Veggie: delicious!!), House Burger ( a dream), the Chief Salad (Best: the Bacon !!!). One thing better than the other. We came here last year for some hours before we had to go to the Airport. And came back because of the perfect toasts. Now we have two weeks to try all the other dishes. And we will come back. I do not want to talk about prices. But here you can meet many people who live here...Here you can imagine the world a better place: happy and peaceful. Thank you for the beautiful moments. What a remarkable find in early January. Craig was an friendly, gregarious & no nonsense host. From approaching the bar to request our first drinks we knew that this was a good place!

After a few drinks, from the short menu we requested olives, pan con tomaté, tuna salad & French fries. All the food was delivered quickly & it was all as expected, freshly prepared & very tasty. The food & drinks we ordered represented excellent value for money. I enjoyed the draft Sagres 500ml beers & my wife had no complaints about the glasses of dry white wine. Was recommended this cafe on the west side of Praia de Faro and wasn't disappointed. Craig the host served up a fantastic seafood pasta(9)and very large glasses of wine(2€). An absolute steal considering the quality and friendliness. Having experienced the places to the east of the causeway, I'll definitely be turning right. Thanks again for the hospitality, it was a great end to our Algarve cycling experience and best meal we had in our travels between VRSA and Faro. will see you again Mike and Andy(Scotland)...
