Carlsberg Sports Bar — Restaurant in Faro

I do not understand the bad reviews. We were here as a family with two kids. After checking all the places, we decided for this Bar, since it had the longest queue and a Lunch Menue. Even though the queue was long, it was very fast, since three people were serving. The staff was very friendly. The lunch menue was explained to us in detail and we ordered four dishes. We had a nice vegetable soup as a starter, a self made macaroni chicken as a main, and a espresso for desert. The food was completed with a drink (Beer or Softdrink of your choice). The area was clean, the TV was showing Olympic Games and we only paid 10 Euro. One of the best airport Bars I haver...

Absolutely disgusting, stay away.

I sat here and purchased food and drinks during many hours. Not once did any of the staff clean a table, floor or even clear away the rubbish. The staff are very rude and ignorant too. Ask for a table to be cleaned and receive a smirk then given the cold shoulder.

The bagels are terrible and soggy, the beer is carlsberg, so you know it’s not going to be good, but waiting 20 minutes after having placed your order because they are so badly organized is something else...
