Pastelaria Bom Gosto — Restaurant in Faro

Another yummy visit at the cafe, we had no food at the villa so this is the first stop to fuel up at the start of our vacation. Carina and her lovely colleague both remembered us. We enjoyed their tasty coffees, freshly squeezed OJ, chicken salad and tuna baguettes with really quality ingredients. Couldn’t leave without sampling some baked treats too. Perfect start to the holiday before heading into the supermarket for a food shop. (2024)

(2023)We had to wait for our car to be repaired at the local machanics so we took the family for some breakfast and coffee to kill some time. Although they only do scrambled eggs on toast the breakfast was really pleasant, coffee was great, the kids enjoyed cheese and ham toasties and freshly squeezed orange juice and we have plans to go back again as we complete our great vacation in the Algarve. Lots of delicious pastries to choose from too. Indoor and outdoor seating and a clean bathroom. You can pay with an Apple Pay too. The owner Carina used to have her own cafe on the outskirts of Paris but this has a lovely Portuguese charm to it. Staff very friendly and speak some English and French as...

Great little cafe in Santa Barbara de Nexe for Lunch and Wine..excellent prices as well...we'll get back here again many times for lunch prior to departure...Shame on me for not commenting on the great, friendly, informative service provided by the proprietors of this great spot. I love this quiet place in the centre of beautiful Santa Bàrbara de Nexe. They recently started offering an English Breakfast, just €10 inc tasty strong coffee.
