Restaurante Iguaria Camponesa — Restaurant in Faro

Awful place, such a shame as saw it and thought would be good place to go. There is nothing fresh about the food. Bread was stale and dry, chorizo was definitely microwaved, no sauce, no grill marks and was cold.

Mixed grill came cold with cold chips and rice. Informed the owner who did not seem bothered and did not apologise. Came back with the same dish and meat on top was luke warm and the rest still cold.

Vegetable soup tasted like it was cooked with old oil. Bacalhau a brás was luke warm at best, was mainly the crisps/potato which were stale and ask bits cod.

Instead of complaining again, we just paid, as in, had to get up find the owner and ask for the bill. Owner doesn't seem to care about quality of food or customer...

First of all BROWN PEOPLE BEWARE as the owner and staff here is RACIST. I would give it a 0 star if i could.The whole place is a mediocre .The waiter was drunk didn't understood what I was asking so I tried to reach other waitress but she was busy in handling a customers who were complaining of under cooked chicken! and when I went to the owner who was busy on his phone at the point of sale/ counter and he replied in a rude tone (Falar portuguese) as you are in Portugal. I couldn't believe that they don't speak English as lots of English guests (tourists ) were having their meals at that time. On top of that they told me to leave in anger and I left the premises without having a meal as I had no...

Terrible service. Time between order and delivery absurdly high having in mind that the room was not even at 1/3. The order of my son was forgotten and I was told it would come quickly. It did come but no quickly. Instead of a grilled angus burger, it came a fired burger tasting to fish, probably because it was fried in the same oil fish was. Never to return in this life. Or the next.

The orange cake was paid as well as other things that were on the bill (see photo). I cannot remember having brought your parents to this forum, as you did with ours. Please avoid unnecessary rude comments even if you disagree with...
