The staff were unimaginably rude. I went to the WC, and saw the door sign showed it’s available. I tried to open the door but it was not going anywhere. So I knocked, and no one answered. Few seconds later, an incredibly uneducated female staff opened the door and screamed at my face right away “IT IS PORTUGUAL!!! DO NOT DO THIS HERE!!”. Even I explained the door sign was broken and apologized, she kept screaming at my face. Even told me the door sign might be broken, but anyway you should obey our Portuguese rules. We had an amazing lunch on the beautiful island of Culatra in the Algarve. Getting there by water taxi was quick and easy, and the ride itself added to the experience. The restaurant had a breezy, laid-back vibe that perfectly matched the island atmosphere. We ordered freshly caught fish and squid—everything was incredibly fresh and full of flavour. Nearly didn’t eat here today due to the “terrible service/ poor food” reviews, so glad I ignored them. Our service was very good, waitress was busy but still very pleasant and the food was very good. Ok there are cheaper restaurants in Portugal but hey it’s an island on the sea front so what do you expect. It’s much cheaper than many of the beach side restaurants in the Algarve who only seem to cater for the rich tourists. Would I come...
