Restaurante A Pérola do Oceano — Restaurant in Figueira da Foz

We walked past this restaurant at lunchtime and it was packed. We returned in the evening and it was slowly getting busy with lots of locals. The staff were really helpful and the owner spoke very good English. We had the menu of the day which included bread, delicious garlic butter and olives followed by soup, followed by a meat or fish main course, which was then followed by dessert and a liqueur. A drink was also included in the price. The food was delicious and the waitresses were very helpful and cheerful. This was, without doubt, one of the best value meals we have ever had in Portugal. Arrived at a busy lunch. Most people had the set menu which looks amazing. The guy was so helpful as were the other staff. I have the tastiest octopus off the menu as it was guaranteed Gluten Free.
