Vulcanici — Restaurant in Guimarães

This place is insane. I’m from Chicago, and Pizza has been a bug part of my culture as far back as I can remember.

And I’ve traveled quite a bit to different countries and many many pizza places that claim that have great pizza, and some do, but Vulcanici will forever stick out for me as one of the best pizza places I’ve ever been to.

From the garlic bread, starters, to the cheesecake at the end, it’s what really makes it special. Beyond the fantastic pizzas, pretty much anything that you order here is going to be of a very high caliber.

The service is very friendly, the place is super clean, and the pizza is just as good as you possibly can hope for.

Of course it’s all subjective, people have their preferred styles of Pizza, but for me, top three best pizzas I’ve ever had.

I ordered takeaway pizza, and I’m really disappointed. The Margherita pizza tasted like an omelet, and the Alfonso pizza was the same. I feel like I wasted my money. I can share a video and pictures that show everything about their delivered pizza. Pizza delivery needs to be careful due to heat and steaming bread. Actually they invited me to go in person and eat pizza there or buy dessert from them and send me another pizza. But I actually expected that they make it up as I ordered in application and they sent me another one after I complaining or return my money but they offer different things that was not sufficiant. Best Neapolitan pizza place I tried in Braga and Porto district. The pizza dough is super light and flavorful. All the ingredients are imported from Italy, a stamp of quality. Super rich flavors reflection of fresh ingredients, which are always in the right amount, not too much not too little. They do some variations of traditional Napolitaneon pizza like de D Afinao Henriques stuffed with ricotta and ham in the "handle". Can definitely recommend that one!
