Beautiful setting, but unfortunately a disappointing experience.

The atmosphere was stunning—overlooking the ocean with a thoughtfully designed menu that had so much potential. However, the service was by far the worst I’ve ever encountered.

We waited 1.5 hours for our food, only receiving one appetizer before our table was completely forgotten. I ordered a glass of wine while we waited, but after 20 minutes and no follow-up, I approached the bar. The waitress acknowledged the request but never returned. She spent the time cleaning and chatting with staff, despite the restaurant being half empty (aside from one large table).

It was clear the staff hadn’t been properly trained, and service for several tables around us was also neglected and customers were really disappointed (and hungry). After waiting with no explanation or apology, we left. The manager—on the phone—told us we didn’t need to pay, but there was no accountability.

With better management and staff training, this could be a five-star destination. Sadly, I never got to try the food and left feeling incredibly disappointed...

When me and my wife first entered the place it looked so much promising, as a logical continuation of or magic trip! We were in a great mood and so very hungry! The first bell rang, when we had to wait for ages to get a menu, which was literally thrown at our faces by gloomy waiter. Ok, maybe bad day we thought, so we tried to be as nice as possible to smooth all out. Did not help. Asked for a help to select our dishes and immediately regreted. Rudeness and unprofessionalism of the personnel was iconic! On the other hand all this was compensated by really great food, which saved our evening from ruining down. We are just curious do guys have different management in the kitchen and restaurant hall? Or maybe we just were unlucky. Will never return, but if they have delivery would use that option indeed! Regarding the score. Despite the fantastically delicious food I am giving just 1 star. This is because i believe a restaurant is rather ideal and 5 star or if it is not...

We had a rather surprising experience at this restaurant. First of all, not easy to find. You have to park on the external public parking of the ANC resort and then take a walkway in the corner (back and right) to the hotel. The building seems in bad condition (one entrance door did not work); when we arrive at the restaurant on the first floor, we are told we’ll have to eat somewhere else as lights are not working. Staff were installing tables in a room at the back. The menu is original with two “parts”, one international, the other inspired by Japan with many sushis and a domination of salmon. We love sushi and made the wrong choice to order an assortment of 20. All these sushi were sweet ! Original but not our taste and not our expectation. Service was okay, certainly given the circumstances and stress they had to operate in with the last...
