Well, as a frequent client, knowing the owners, I can be suspect on my opinion. But I'll just report what I think about this superb restaurant. When trying to analyze all different aspects from a Restaurant, maybe we can find here not only all different ways to express our opinion, but also the same high standard thoughts on the approach of the details. Starting with the building itself, high standard of architecture in a privileged location, just in front of the XII sec. Castle of Leiria, at the same high, where visitors are welcome with this unique view just 1 km away in straight line. Then we have the interior architecture, where various areas have been delimited for special purposes, like a kindergarten place where parents can stay at table, while watching their kids, special areas regarding traditional restaurant tables along with other tables located closed to the exterior windows, so that they can take profit of the superb view, etc… Now, the last but not the least – food. Well, here the variety, quality and variation of dishes make a perfect choice for anyone that what to impress his/her invited guest. Simply amazing. Delicious. Reasonable price. For 2 people it was €42. Included one bottle or red house wine. We each had steak dinner. Bread and meat appitizer. Amd we each had dessert. Service was great. Server spoke English and French to us and we even had French menue. We didn't have to worry about trying to read portuguese menue while on our vacation. Ambiance was nice.
