Beyond Falafel — Restaurant in Loulé

So good I ate lunch there two days in a row when I was supposed to be fasting. Yesterday I thought I'd finally try out this place after seeing so many good ratings on Google. I was sceptical as I've had great falafel and humous in London and Tel Aviv. I ordered the falafel in a pita (plus fries) which was fresh and tasty with plenty of side sauces. I also managed to get a taster of the humous which was impressive. Today I took the Mrs for lunch. I had the falafel in a wrap (with fries) which was just as good as the pita and the Mrs had humous with bread. Whilst the falafel wrap was tasty, I have to say the humous was outstanding. Great flavour, pro level texture, enormous portion and made fresh to order. Got chatting to the super warm & hospital staff and this time managed to taste the mango sorbet (again freshly made to order and not too sweet with fresh mango flavour). I'd go as far as to say this is the best falafel I've had. They were delicious and had a great texture, were light, with a lovely flavour from the fresh herbs and vegetables and a perfect thin crispy coating. The hummus was well seasoned with a rich, smooth texture and the breads and salad were a perfect accompaniment.

The staff were very friendly and even accommodated an off-menu request for our toddler.
