Meg Ice Cream is a lovely spot for a sweet treat by the coast. The shop has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff are always kind and patient — even when it’s busy, they take the time to serve everyone with a smile.

There’s a great selection of flavours, from the classic favourites to some more unique choices, all creamy and full of flavour. The portions are fair, and you can tell the ice cream is made with care and good ingredients.

Expensive, we got dragon fruit and strawberry which set us back almost €5 which was a lot.

We often travel to Italy, and gelato there is traditional, this was not and was nowhere near as cheap. For the area about average though and has the best reviews.

The ice cream was nice, strawberry better than the dragon fruit but that was expected. I don’t have any photos of this one sadly but for considering cost and overall taste I am going with a 3 sorry.

Really hot inside...

We had a fantastic 3 weeks holiday in Quarteira Algarve. The holiday was completed when we all discovered MEG Gelato. Our evenings were spent sitting outside MEG Gelato eating their fabulous different ice creams. There were so many delicious flavours, I have to say my favourite was their cheesecake 😋.
