Cafe del Arte — Restaurant in Loulé

Cafe del Arte offered us the best dinner during our trip in Algarve! It had everything to make it a perfect evening: beautiful space, absolutely delicious food, extremely friendly atmosphere and the best, kind and thoughtful service!

The space is unique and even though we weren’t able to enjoy the garden outdoor seating as it was raining, we loved the quaint, colorful and detailed interior design of the indoor space.

We had wonderful conversations with the person serving us and even the chef came and checked on us. You could feel that every person in the restaurant felt their love for the work done there!

Wish we would’ve been able to bring the whole restaurant back home with us.

Wow. What a find. I'm quite fussy with wine, food and ambiance... This place could not be better. Toni, the host, is just what you're looking for in an independent restaurant; he understands food, very knowledgeable about wine and is quirky - in a good way ;) We ate with our children who hailed the tomato soup as the best they've ever tasted. Our Gnocchi was... the best I've ever tasted. After selecting a Malbec Toni persuaded me to try a local wine - it was phenomenal! We also ate steak, which was perfectly cooked and well accompanied. We used to live in Vilamoura 6 years ago, and this was a regular haunt for us. On a return trip to the Algarve for the first time since our move, we thought we must head back to an old favourite and hope not to be disappointed by too much change. We shouldn’t have worried, it was the best evening of our stay…..we were instantly recognised and welcomed back like old friends by the delightful Tony.
