Casa do Largo — Restaurant in Loulé

We recently got married at Casa do Largo in Vilamoura and we loved every second. Planning a wedding abroad can feel very overwhelming and stressful, but Heather and the team were fabulous from start to finish, and gave us the most perfect wedding day!

Heather was very responsive to us, right from our first enquiry right up to the big day - and even afterwards too. The venue itself is beautiful and one of a kind, set in a beautiful location and very charming. The food was out of this world!!!! One of the biggest parts of the day that was commented on. And there was loads of it! We had the BBQ package and the pizza party - no regrets!! Heather also helped provide a list of suppliers that she recommends and works with regularly. This was so helpful and made wedding planning simple. As well as this, she has an extensive catalogue of decor choices that you can hire. We were thankful of this as we didn’t have to lug lots of decorations in suitcases.

The evening in Florentina’s was a huge hit, it is decorated well, air conditioned and plenty of room for dancing.

Our guests enjoyed our wedding day from start to finish, all saying what a magical day it had been. Heather and her team are well versed in pulling off the perfect day, so I don’t think anyone would have any regrets in choosing this wonderful venue 💕

We even went up the following evening just to have some dinner in the restaurant which was also lovely.

We fell in love with Casa do Largo 5 years ago on a family holiday and were lucky enough to have our wedding there in July. The venue is absolutely stunning and we didn’t consider anywhere else. From my first contact with a Heather it was clear we were in safe hands. I felt confident that she knew exactly what she was doing and Heather certainly did not disappoint. Her communication is second to none and although it can feel daunting planning a wedding abroad, this quickly disappears as you start going through the process with Heather. Heather has great contacts with all the best suppliers and really does make the planning feel easy. Absolutely every tiny detail was covered and nothing was undelivered on the day. The precision of Heather and her team is simply outstanding. The venue looked breathtaking, food and service was top notch. We had so many compliments and comments around the food being the best wedding food our guests had ever had. The team worked so hard to make our day perfect. Unfortunately my groom was poorly during the day but again the team went above and beyond to look after him and also make sure that I was ok too - thank you so much. Everyone had a great time and I cannot recommend this place highly enough for a wedding. Lots of guests visited during the week for drinks and food too and said how good it was. This was our third time at this restaurant as the previous two occasions had been excellent. However, tonight’s shambles has been so bad we have had to drastically change our opinion of this restaurant. My wife and I, who have been long term vegetarian’s ordered vegetarian sausage and mash only to be brought out a meal which resembled a normal meat sausage. After querying twice with the waiting staff of which all assured us that they were vegetarian sausages we were not convinced so questioned it once more to then be told that they were not veggie sausages but regular ones. When it came to paying the bill we was still charged full price. This whole episode has left us feeling both ill...
