OBA O Burger D'Almancil — Restaurant in Loulé

My first visit and I will likely return soon.

I ordered the Beyond meat cheeseburger and mistakenly ordered jalapeño poppers. The poppers were perfectly crisp on the outside and perfectly gooey on the inside. The mistake was because the burger came with fries. 🤣 But the cashier didn’t mention it was a set menu. He just asked if I wanted a drink.

Burger was nicely garnished and juicy. The bun was also grilled which was a great touch!

A bit overpriced for a burger place, but the area is a bit higher priced so it’s expected. Atmosphere doesn’t match the price tag but the food was quite good. Fries were a bit hard/overcooked but wasn’t an issue because I was plenty full from the burger and poppers.

2nd visit: ordered a Beyond Meat burger (and even pointed to the menu) but was given a veggie bean and corn cheese burger. Because it took over 30 min to get my food, I just ate it anyway. It’s wasn’t nearly as tasty as the Beyond Meat burger but I didn’t have another 30 min to wait for the correct burger....

Sem grandes expectativas, decidimos almoçar neste restaurante, que logo de cara lembrou aquelas lanchonetes descomplicadas de shopping, mas sem o exagero de propagandas e luzes piscando. O pedido é feito direto no balcão, num esquema simples e funcional, que já dá um clima mais tranquilo.

A espera pelo hambúrguer foi dentro do esperado, nada que testasse a paciência. Os preços, justos para o que foi entregue, não pesaram no bolso. Quando a comida chegou, veio a surpresa: o hambúrguer estava suculento, com um pão no ponto certo – nem seco, nem encharcado. O molho era gostoso, mas ficou a vontade de experimentar algo mais autoral, quem sabe uns molhos caseiros para dar um charme extra.

O destaque, sem dúvida, foi a batata frita. Com um toque especial que não vou estragar aqui, ela roubou a cena e mostrou que o lugar sabe como surpreender. É aquele tipo de experiência que não promete muito, mas entrega um almoço honesto e saboroso, com espaço pra crescer ainda mais. Voltaria sem...
