Zé do Norte — Restaurant in Loulé

Scam alert!!!! Went there on a Monday night & it was only few people there. We were told to sit in a different area from the other guests. Bread,butter,olives & cheese brought to our table as well as a portion of boiled prawns. Menus were brought later. Turns out they charge you for the prawns for 7.5 euros. The bread & other servings are for a standard price of 1.5 euros. Waiter didn’t inform us of that obviously. Beer prices are not listed on the menu, only wines. I sensed the scam therefore challenged the waiter who initially was defensive then started to apologize saying that he only works here & those were the instructions from his boss. We only had our drinks & paid for the prawns that we obviously didn’t order. They don’t accept credit cards from other countries & there are no atms in the restaurant. I would not recommend this...

I was visiting this Place with my Girlfriend that is Portoguese the experience in this Restaraunt was Horrible the Waiter was an old Men i think he was the Owner he was not really taking our order didnt write everything up we wanted so the sides were missing when we got the meat the posta was cutted in the wrong direction what leads to it that i wasnt eatable and at the end they not even sayed sorry or anything and from the sides the he told us they run out of rice but 20min later after it it came we didnt need it anymore. by the picture u can see that the meat was cutted wrong it was a plate to share we definitely come not back to this place and for tourist dont come here for the food there a definitely...

The food was ok. The service was awful. The waiter ignored us for quite some time. Then he forgot my food so I had to wait another 20 minutes. When we wanted to pay we had to ask 3 times and waited 30 minutes again. When we finally had enough and got up to go the waiter noticed us for once and rushed to us.
