Large parking, beautiful spacious and clean restaurant. The "pao de caco" was marvelous and i could take one home. Our food had good tasting, perfect seasoning. The chicken and polenta was a good combination . The house wine deserved several stars. The flan at the end was tasteless, but that is ok.. Now the bad.. the service offered by the first waiter was terrible. Dry, rude and a disservice for this great restaurant... I asked about the cod and he said " it will take a long time because it is frozen , this is a meat restaurant, not for fish"... Ok .. fair.. then i asked if there were small plates and he said "NO, everything here is large", then he gave us his back and walked away... Luck for us, he was changed later for Fernando, which was a bless. Fernando was nice, careful and pleasant. He saved the dinner. If i go back (for the food), i will reject that server.

Hier, le 16 mars 2023. Arrivée à 19h30. Servit à 19h50. Tout ensemble, les saucisses peu cuites, les frites tièdes et les brochettes toutes blanches. Tout était infect. Suite à notre réclamation à 20h10 on nous a offert 2 brochettes. Ce n’est pas ce que nous voulions, nous étions venus pour passer un bon moment en famille pour un anniversaire dans un cadre fantastique. On nous a proposé ni café ni dessert. On ne reviendra jamais. Dommage c’était la 4eme fois. Parti à 20h30 J’ai pris des photos que j’ai fais voir à la personne qui faisait les brochettes, il m’a dit oh pardon ????? Ce restaurant est tenu que par des gamins qui ne pensaient qu’à rire en cuisine. A l’accueil un monsieur d’une cinquantaine d’année qui nous a complètement ignoré à notre arrivée. Pas de bonsoir. Bons serveurs et serveuses qui étaient vraiment navrés, et la responsable qui nous a dit tout dépend du bœuf la viande n’est pas la même d’un animal à l’autre. Ce n’est pas une réponse. Dommage. J'ai eu votre message, et je vous ai envoyé mes coordonnées par 3 fois et par mail avec. Mon mail et mon téléphone. A ce jour soit 1 mois et demi après, PAS DE REPONSE DE VOTRE PART. ????????? C'est pas très sérieux. Qu'en dites vous ? Apres presque 3 mois, toujours sans nouvelles, aucun contact malgré mes relances régulières. Vraiment pas sérieux. Chez vous, c'est mange et paye que ce soit bon ou pas. Vous pouvez toujours me contacter vous avez mon mail et mon téléphone Au plaisir Mr le directeur de cet établissement Cordialement

Unexpected delightful surprise for the entire family. We assumed it was just a run of the mill Brazilian style "Rodízio" but instead it was an excellent Madeira style meat skewers place: very long skewers hanging from a rope over the table, with sweet garlic bread (bolo do caco) as starters. The meat was great and perfectly cooked, excellent selection of meat cuts to choose from (we went for Ribeye). Three portions were just about enough for the 5 of us. A bit pricey but worth the trip.

Ambiente bastante agradável. Excelente carta de vinhos com várias opções, ótimas para harmonizar com os diferentes cortes de carne disponíveis no restaurante. O serviço deixou um pouco a desejar. Os funcionários enganaram-se várias vezes nos pedidos que deixavam na nossa mesa. Pedimos entradas: Bolo do Caco com manteiga de alho e ervas e Espetada de Queijo. Aconselho vivamente o primeiro, côdea estaladiça e miolo suave e arejado. Não vinha excessivamente untado com manteiga, o que permitiu saborear todos os ingredientes. O queijo, preferia se fosse um pouco mais forte e salgado. Faz lembrar queijo coalho; foi também ele grelhado no espeto e retirado na mesa para uma taça. Durante a confeção foi temperado com orégãos. Vinho: Quinta dos Aciprestes, Douro. De sabor intenso, carece de algum repouso. É frutado e combina muito bem com carnes vermelhas. Prato Principal: 1 Vazia sem osso, meia dose de ananás grelhado e legumes salteados com cogumelos. A carne era bastante saborosa, o ponto vinha tal como pedimos, mal passado. Muito bem confeccionado. O ananás era muito bom, foi grelhado com canela, o que ajudou a equilibrar os sabores dos legumes. Estes foram preteridos no nosso paladar pela doçura que o molho tinha... No entanto, estavam no ponto de confeção correto, não perdendo suculência e crocância. Sobremesa: Trio Algarvio. Muito bom! Pedimos para dividir, o que é sempre uma mais valia nos doces regionais.

Wonderful and interesting experience! Food is served Brazilian style on skewers and the skewers are hung from heavy cables over the tables. We got chicken for just 8€ and savory pork shortribs for 14€. Next time we'll try some of their other dishes like sausage, cheese, and pineapple skewers. There are also much more expensive dishes if you like. Ambiance was great and there was a lot of easy parking.
