I have had the opportunity to experience this restaurant before and after management changes. I can confidently say, it’s like night and day. I was hesitant at first, but I’m glad I decided to give it another chance. The food is one of the best in town. The place seems to be more organized, and the servers are always on top of their game. Whether you’re going in to sip your morning coffee (or fresh OJ in my case) and admire the ocean, or to enjoy a meal. Had a fabulous experience dining at Chico del Mar last week on my first night in Ericeira . Not only was the food absolutely delicious but the staff was super friendly and accommodating as I’m an English speaker .The cherry on top was the lovely view of São Sebastião Beach .
