Chafariz Beirão — Restaurant in Mangualde

For about €10 you can get a bowl of soup, drink, main, dessert and coffee. There are different choices for main and dessert for the day which you can choose from. The soup was pretty tasty but not as warm as it should be as well as the food was a little cold but apart from that it was decent for the price. I have paid more elsewhere and didn’t eat as well. The portions are big. It’s a family business, I think as I entered didn’t really get a very good welcome or asked where I would like to seat but that’s ok. It’s not really a restaurant for tourists but people who work close by and have a cheap meal for the day. Although everyone is welcome and I did get asked by the manager how the food was which was kind of him. Although the bill could have been taken to the table for instance instead of making us wait for the bill to be done by the managers are the till as the waitress can’t calculate the bill. The atmosphere is nice though and it’s always full at lunch times. Some waitress could smile a little bit more but some were very kind. Will be coming back though. Note if you want butter it is...

Uma vergonha! Mais de meia hora à espera, com várias mesas disponíveis. Clientes que nos passam à frente e ninguém diz nada mesmo após nós avisarmos aos gerentes. Os empregados todos nas calmas com uma fila enorme para comer, mesas vazias e nem somos atendidos. 5 pessoas a trabalhar e todos nas calmas sem se mexerem e quando lhes falamos dão nos respostas sem olhar para nós ou nem nos dão resposta sequer! A VERGONHA DE MANGUALDE! Nunca mais la meto os pés. Primeira e última para mim. E para a minha mãe que já la ia vastas...

A primeira e a última, serviço de mesa com 0 formação, sem modos nenhuns!! As tampas do take away a cair no chão, apanham e utilizam sem higienizar. A minha salada de atum, só tinha o cheiro do atum, o ovo tinha duas bocados e esmordaçados!! Muito tempo a espera pela comida, ainda se a comida fosse boa, mas só que não. A minha filha só comeu a sopa e teve de pagar o prato, porque aqui funciona a cabeça. Nunca na minha vida...
