Pizzaria Milana — Restaurant in Mira

This restaurant advertises itself as Italian, but the experience didn't reflect that claim. First, the pizza arrived burnt. Yes, they did replace it when we complained — but honestly, how can a kitchen send out a burnt pizza in the first place?

Then came the pasta carbonara. The pasta was literally floating in cream. Now, I don’t claim to be a chef, but traditional carbonara is not supposed to be a creamy soup. It's usually made with egg yolks, cheese, guanciale and pasta water — no cream. When done right, the sauce should be silky and cling to the pasta, not pool at the bottom of the plate.

In the end, it felt more like a tourist-oriented version of Italian cuisine than...

I ordered 1 plate of Snails , and I’ve waited 1 hour for it. ( just to your information , the snails are pre cooked and frozen , you just need to take them out of the freezer and cocked for about 8 mins . Keep in mind that I’ve waited 1 hour for a dish that takes 20 minutes max to prepare). As a second we all ate pizza . Food is great but service is terrible!!! They’re incredibly slow for everything! You can be standing waiting to sit down and owner and/or employees walk by and don’t even acknowledge you!
