The selection of seafood is wide and of the highest quality. You get to pick your own fish and then they will cook it for you, which is a nice experience. In addition, the portions are very generous especially for a higher end restaurant although in Portugal all dishes have large portions, so be careful how much you order. Staff were good to let you know and ask about how much food or hungry people were. We had the squid which was really well cooked and very tasty. We also have the clams which were fantastic. The one thing you will notice in Portugal is that they do not clean their shrimp i.e. take out the intestine which is normal in North America so this place did not do that which I didn’t like so when you’re eating it, it feels grainy. It’s not a dig on the restaurant, but maybe this is a cultural / Portugal thing as I have not seen any dish with shrimp that clean the intestine out. The service is perhaps a little too formal, but still very polite and very knowledgeable. A great location in a lovely town by the ocean. On this one, I’m a little bit biased since I grew up here before moving to North America. You cannot go wrong with this place. We come here every year on our vacation visiting my family. I so appreciated your kindness by adjusting your pre defined / set meal only for me which came to me as surprise while enjoying my food. Initially when I was booking my table, your staff ( if i remember correctly his name is Joao) asked me about food allergies and we had a talk about this and I informed him not to worry since I can skip 1 or 2 items from the huge list. From the appetizers to the dessert, the staff was attentive and efficient. I have to say the Natas De Ceu was bay far the best I’ve ever had.
