I came here after seeing a blogger's recommendation online. But overall, it didn't meet my expectations and I was a little disappointed. First of all, all the dishes and fish were very salty. I have a strong taste and they all tasted very salty to me. There were 8 of us eating there and everyone felt the same way. The red shrimp and fried octopus were relatively delicious, but among all the eel food, I think only the fried big eel was delicious, and the others were just average. (I am an eel lover). In addition, the pica-pau here was very delicious and was the food I ate the most because the others were very salty. The price is not cheap and is probably the most expensive in this area. For the same price, I can eat at a very good restaurant in Lisbon. Because it is far from Lisbon, I may not come again...

Pay more attention to whoever arrives first and don't make people look like they don't notice. It would look good and it would be fair. And in the tomato rice with cockles it only had the name of the cockle the rice had it!

Good afternoon. In that case I can inform you with a several people assists to that comments, first your staff sad that no table marking and what you sad in your reply it's not the case to a client that have table marking that's amazing. But we understand and if your restaurant it's to differencial attendance or private it's only answer and we can choice another one. For your information if you notice I went to your restaurant several times from long time ago. Many thanks anyway for your kind answer...

Traditional restaurant given new life. A nod to the past, this place makes a homage to the golden years of bullfighting, with plenty of nostalgic memorabilia and black and white photos on the walls. The food is very tasty indeed, and the service is competent, friendly and efficient. Highlight dishes include fried eels, varied cuts of meat expertly grilled and the local wine. Definitely worth a visit, it's a local gem that proves it's possible to change with the times while keeping the identity and character that made the place famous in the...
